Audi TT is a car manufactured by the German automaker and Volkswagen group subsidiary AUDI AG. Audi TT a two-door sports car is manufactured by Audi Hungaria Motor Kft. in Gyor, Hungary. Audi TT is built on Volkswagen Group A platform on consecutive generations starting with the A4. The Audi TT has identical powertrain and suspension layouts and is now in its second generation having two car body styles, as a 2+2 Coupé, or two-seater Roadster. The Audi TT was first shown as a concept car and its styling began in 1994 at the Volkswagen Group Design Center in California. Audi TT was shown in 1995 Frankfurt Motor Show for the first time. A dual clutch six-speed Direct-Shift Gearbox was introduced in Audi TT in 2003.

The United Kingdom TT variants became the world's first user of a dual clutch transmission configured for a right-hand drive vehicle. Though the right for the world's first road car equipment was with a dual clutch transmission was claimed earlier by a Volkswagen Group platform-mate. The Audi TT got the name from the successful motor racing in the British Isle of Man TT (Tourist Trophy) motorcycle race. The racing tradition NSU began competing in the TT in 1911, and developed into the company now known as Audi. The NSU 1000TT, 1200TT and TTS cars of the 1960s is also followed by the Audi TT in taking their names from the race.

The TT name is also attributed as Technology & Tradition. TT models in early stage gained lots of press coverage for a series of high-speed accidents in Europe but the crashes and related fatalities occurred at speeds in excess of 180 kilometres per hour. In Audi TT Electronic Stability Programme, and rear spoiler were added, with suspension modifications and were subsequently incorporated into future series production versions of the car. The TT mechanically shares an identical powertrain layout as its related Volkswagen Group platform mates. Audi released the Coupé 800 sold in the UK, not the 1000 as originally planned in 2005.

Audi TT quattro Sport also known as the Audi TT Club Sport in Europe was built by AUDI AG high performance specialist subsidiary quattro GmbH, it had increased power from earlier versions. Audi TT has also achieved weight loss by deleting the spare wheel, rear parcel shelf and rear seats, and the standard fitment air conditioning. Latest technology is used in the engineering of the car, to produce ultimate driving pleasure.
