Ferrari is a automotive company founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1929 as the name Scuderia Ferrari who sponsored drivers and produced race cars. Ferrari is an Italian company manufacturing sports car and have its head quarter at Maranello in Italy. Ferrari had a racing success in Formula one and later moved on with the production of Street vehicles in 1947. Ferrari produced the first racing car in 1940 and the first road Ferrari was 125 S which was powered by 1.5L V12 engine in 1947. Before the death of the founder of Ferrari in 1988 a new Ferrari was launched Ferrari F40, which was one of the famous supercars of its time. After the death of Enzo Ferrari, Ferrari introduced the Enzo as a tribute to the founder which was the fastest model of that time. In 2009 Testa Rossa sold as the most expensive car holding the world at an auction.

Ferrari was in the list of Ferrari competition cars and Albert Ascari gave Ferrari the Drivers championship. Ferrari holds the formula one record and the most successful champion with 15 World drivers’ championship title. Ferrari produced cars for sports car racing and in 1949 Ferrari's 166 M had its first win in 24 hours of Le Mans. Ferrari won the worlds sports car championship seven times out of nine races. Ferrari also provided racing cars for other teams like the famous Tony Vandervell's team before it produced its own Van wall cars. Ferrari cars with V8 engines were used in A1 Grand Prix series and was designed to resemble Formula one Ferrari cars. In 1949 Ferrari 166 inter emerged with bulk selling in the market in the list of Ferrari road cars.

Ferrari cars featured bodywork by coachbuilders, 2+2 version of mid engine V8 cars, front engine 2+2 cars and mid engined 12 cylinder fray. The latest Ferrari models are Ferrari 360 Modena, Ferrari 360 spider, Ferrari 456, Ferrari 456M, Ferrari 550 Barchetta, Ferrari 550 Maranello, Ferrrari Enzo, Ferrari F1, Ferrari F355, Ferrari F40. Ferrari has displayed in the Detroit Auto show F430 spider which runs on ethanol and considered that hybrid will be in production. Ferrari has provided various engine displacements like the V6 and V8 models used the displacements in first two and cylinder as the third, V12 model used displacement of one cylinder, Flat12 used displacement in litres. Ferrari is the renowned name in the automobile company and known for its sports car and has participated in the racing from past so many years with outstanding success.
